Chance mee!!!

ivay. im nto conceited at all.so i guess i have to be the man here. I am retaking the SATS in january and i know i will do much better. I also have many aspects about myself that i didnt put in my chance thread including my essay (quite good from my readers opinions). i am not an adcom and neither are you. SO lets put this matter behind us. agreed?

and your comennt ndn**** is racist, ndn means indian so if your cursing all 1 billion + indians, than not even the best sat scores can help you

wow both of you...I wouldn't say either is racist, but both of you are trying to read how race is considered by adcoms...incorrectly
otherwise, neither of you have a good chance, I don't know why ivay posted a chance thread for "second opinions" only to yell at anyone who gave him an honest one. Just because you are a slightly stronger applicant than ndn (which may not be the case--I haven't looked at his), doesn't mean you are strong enough to get in...or even close.
and from what i know, being a great athlete doesn't mean too much unless you are recruited to that school... are you? do they even have men's volleyball?

ivay... my best friend also played in the junior olympics for volleyball. He had a 2320 SAT, 4.4 GPA, lots of impressive activities, was recruited as a volleyball player at Stanford, but was rejected EA.

...SO I dont know if you can call stanford a back up school.

But then again he was white and I dont know how great his essays or recs were. But still I dont think your URM status would make a Huge difference.
