Stats are obviously amazing. The problem is the ECs, nothing stands out. I’d give it a 50-50 chance, which is to say, much higher than the average applicant.

By the way, you and your “brother” seem to have very similar stats, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1745987-please-chance-me-for-princeton-harvard-and-ga-tech.html#latest

All depends on essays, interviews and recommendations. Seems like a very strong candidate

Looks good. What is intended major? Why Princeton?

I have two brothers; a younger one and a twin. This is my twin. @jamesjunkers‌

It is a great research university for his major Chemical and Biological Engineering @sgopal2‌

Lol you don’t have to lie… Just say it’s you
I seriously doubt your younger brother and your twin have the exact same SAT, ACT, SAT II’s, recs, ECs, etc.

Are you calling me a liar? @jamesjunkers‌

If you are claiming that this thread and http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1745987-please-chance-me-for-princeton-harvard-and-ga-tech.html#latest were made for two different people, then yeah, I am. Not that I really care, you wanted two chance threads, not a big deal…

lol chill its all good @jamesjunkers‌

^I’m confused. Are you admitting that I’m right, or are you still claiming it was for your two different brothers?

To be completely honest, my guess would be that you’re a junior and are applying next year, and are testing out your chances with slightly different stats.

I’m “claiming” that it is for two different brothers @jamesjunkers‌ don’t worry about it.

What a waste of our time. If you want honest answers, then please just give us the honest truth. This is an anonymous forum after all.

-Science Olympiad (Captain)
-National Honor Society(President)
AP (place score in parentheses): All 5’s on 11 APs

Wow, interesting how twins can both be captain and president…NOT You are same person. Be honest and you will receive more feedback.

Well some things are slightly different, like class rank and volunteer hours. Plus one has had an interview and one hasn’t. I mean, they could just be remarkably similar, and co-captains/co-president’s. Just trying to give the benefit of the doubt.

If you are lying - why? People would still be happy to chance you.

It’s often stated that one should avoid using their account for the benefit of others/to chance others, as it just causes unnecessary confusion (as we can see here…). Tell your brother to make his own account!

You have a chance, which is better than most people have. Princeton is a reach for everyone, but they will undoubtedly look at your application with interest and respect, even if they don’t decide in your favor.

@CurlyLllama, the OP asks (in the other thread) “What if I had done XYZ my freshman and sophomore years?” and when others question why it should matter, OP says it’s for his little brother.

Honestly, I’m not in the business of suspecting people of lying - and even if OP is, it’s not a big deal. However, him and his twin brother having exactly the same stats except for him having a class rank two places higher and 200 more community service hours is suspect. Especially as they’re in all the same clubs, and they head the same clubs too. It’d be rare for two twins to be selected as co-captain for a club as people might want to “spread the wealth”, especially as it happened twice.

Then, OP also has a younger brother (one who I suspect OP would say is around the age he actually is), that he is “getting advice for”, assuming that he will have identical states “but with whatever you guys add to it”.

The last thing that makes this a little fishy is that having both a 2390 SAT and a 36 ACT makes me go… Why?. If you already took one and got a perfect score/10 points off a perfect score, why would you take the other test? Just doesn’t make good, time-saving logic. And a valedictorian with 800 community service hours who is also an Intel Semifinalist and head of two clubs probably knows how to budget time.

My guess: OP is a kid about to go into high school who has big dreams of himself doing absolutely perfectly on everything and wants to know what he can do that which he hasn’t conceived yet. This is in line with the SAT/ACT thing, as that part sounds like someone who doesn’t know much about the college process talking.

OR, OP is writing some article about College Confidential and how it treats the most perfect of applicants. lol

I agree mostly with @Anonymoose3, except that I think OP is a sophomore or a junior, not an 8th grader.
