Hey, so can you people chance my SATs + SAT IIs? I know sats are only a small amount of the total application, but I'm wondering if this part of my application is good enough.
So

Sats I 1470/2200 (750/720/730)

Sat IIs (what I am worried about)

Math I - 690

US History - 710

So can you guys please help me, and I will chance back.

D got in with a 1470/2210. I don’t think your SAT2 or writing are looked at critically. Have you tried the ACT? Obviously, you are only giving us a tiny piece of information so it is impossible to give you any advice

SATII’s aren’t required. So don’t worry about SATII’s. Getting a decent score like yours would count for you.

Ok, also, is it true that the writing section doesn’t count at all, or does it count as an SAT II? How does that work?

So, um, where’s the fun for all part?

Kidding. Your SATs are great. Quit worrying.

I got in with a 1360/2130 but I applied early

If you apply ED you should be fine, but the RD standards are a lot higher. Regardless, your SATs are top notch

I am going to be a grinch. Take the math SATII again…try Math Level 2…and PREPARE for it. It is only a one hour test and has a much easier curve on it than Level one. do the workbook…strong SATIIs enhance your application.
I don’t agree that you should quit testing when you have tons of options still re testing dates…and Vandy is a very hard school for admissions. I think your regular SAT…would stop taking that and just hold if it was me///
you are a strong candidate regardless but understand that some qualified candidates with good scores will be waitlisted.

A stronger SATII showing can only help you at Vandy and elsewhere.
don’t think an iota more about the writing score…instead write great essays.
