Hi my son has a weighted GPA of 4.28, SAT: 800 M, 700 V, decent ECs (travel soccer at National level, FBLA state champs,German Gov school, NHS, German Society). He is interested in applying to COE for CS from a very competitive school district. What are his chances? Also should he do EA or RD? His GPA will increase (hopefully) at end of 1st semester. Does that make a difference.
He appears to be a very competitive candidate. I recommend EA.
Definitely do ED.
Agree if he is definite VT is his 1st choice regardless of other acceptances OR Financial Aid outcome, do ED vs EA.
