Chance of being admitted to University of Georgia?

Hi, I've applied to UGA through early action and was deferred.
I re-applied through regular decision and am waiting for results to come out in late March.

My GPA including fall semester Senior grade is 3.83 (unweighted)
Took AP World History, AP European History, AP Computer Science, AP Physics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Government, AP Lang, and AP Calculus (8 AP Classes)
SAT CR+Math is 1140
SAT CR+Math+Writing is 1690 (CR 480, Math 660, Writing 550)
ACT is 24 (English 23, Math 28)

Extra-curricular activities include Key Club (4 years), Green Team (1 year), Korean Club (1 year), church activities (mission trips), but no sports..

What is the chance of me being admitted into Univeristy of Georgia?

Well I don’t know the average percentage of deferred applicants that are admitted in the RD round at UGA, but i can say that sending a letter/e-mail re-affirming your interest in UGA may help. Also, make sure that your mid year reports are up to par and you have had no decrease in grades. The thing that brought you down the most, in my opinion, are your SAT and ACT scores. They’re below UGA’s average admitted freshman applicant. And your extra curriculars, from what you’ve given us show no depth or leadership positions. In addition to that, you did not give us your class rank, if your school does rank. That could have factored into their decision. But I would say you have-roughly- a 50/50 chance of being admitted. Just pray, and hope that luck is on your side. Good luck and keep us posted on what the final outcome is. :D

Are you instate?

The best thing to do is to follow the UGA admission blog. It is an excellent blog and the info is straight from the source.

Yup, I applied instate and my class rank is 92 out of 721 students. In addition, my GPA when I applied early was a 3.81 but it went up to 3.83 through my mid year report. Nothing decreased. But thank you for the opinion! That 50/50 is making me nervous, but I guess I’ll just have to pray for it and wish the best out of it.
