Hi! I recently visited the UA and fell in love! I was wondering what my chances were of being accepted into a sorority? I have a good GPA (4.07) but neither of my parents were involved in the Greek system... I know that Alabama has the best Greek life in the country so it is very competitive, so I was wondering what my chances were for being offered a bid? Thank you!!!

No one can honestly answer that question. If someone does they’re lying to you.

What I will tell you is: Most girl going through recruitment are fabulous, grades, activities, resumes, volunteer work etc… The easiest things to get cut for are low GPA, and not having letters of recommendation. After that it’s up to each chapters membership selection process.

If you want the best recruitment, get your recs, and your outfits, go to the spring events. And most importantly KEEP AN OPEN EYE! . chapters at Bama are over 200 members, a new place class has over 100 girls, you will find people to get close with even if your bid isn’t your first choice house.

Trust the process, you truly do end up where you belong.
