Accepted into engineering. Given Maroon scholarship which states it CANNOT be used to lower tuition to in state level.
I won’t be attending unless I can get the in state tuition rate. Anyone know how they decide on who gets this? Does anyone know an OOS student who received this?
Thanks
There aren’t a lot of OOS scholarships offered by Texas A&M. Unless the scholarship specifically gives a tuition waiver, you’re going to pay the OOS rate minus the scholarship amount.
Your other posts say that you are a parent, but here you say “I won’t be attending”. CC rules are 1 person per user name- parent or student.
Whichever, all of your posts seem to be trying to get money from OOS public universities. You aren’t going to get in-state tuition from A&M.
From what I have seen, the majority of OOS waivers go to those that are national merit scholars. I think, although possible, very difficult to get the waiver with out that.
