I only have a 1350 (700 W, 680 R, 670 M) but have many extracurriculars (2 part time jobs, volunteering 60+ hours a year, internship, captain of track team, etc), 6 APs, and run track at national level (if that even has an impact). 4 on AP Psych and 5 on AP English Lang. UW gpa is 3.86 and W is 4.40. Rank is probably in top 10%. Any chance of honors program?

Are you IS or OOS?

If IS, you have a slight shot at honors, but there is no magic threshold/number/formula.

FYI, I am OOS and my son’s stats were higher (he’s in engineering), yet he was placed in scholars instead of honors. Honestly, diff between honors v scholars is not a big deal.

Most important thing you can do is apply by Nov 1st in order to be considered for special programs like honors/scholars/Civicus, etc and merit scholarships.

I’m IS. Ill just apply by Nov 1 and hope for the best

Good chance for Honors. Make sure you demonstrate interest.
