Chance of transfer and a few questions

Dear all warmhearted guys,

Can I ask what my chance is?
I am an international student currently studying at a US university. I applied to transfer to GT for Fall 2013 semester. My major is Electrical Engineering. If GT doesn't have +/- in grades, I probably have 4.0 for both overall and math/science GPA in GT scale. But one of the English Composition courses I took is different from what I found on the GT equivalent courses website. (They are in the same department but the course number is different.) The other courses on the course requirement chart should be fine.

Will GT only send notifications on 15th every month from March to June? I have to leave for my hometown during the summer break, so late notifications may cause some inconvenience...

"All applicants must be in good standing during the last term of enrollment at their prior institutions." So does this mean they will look at your transcript for the last semester and it better look good? Do they require a claim of statement from my professors to make sure i'm in good standing? Since they don't ask me for that and neither can I find that requirement on Buzzport, I suppose they don't ask for it, right?

Any reply will be really appreciated!

You should be aware that you have to satisfy all the course requirements before June 15, the last notification date. If your English is not shown in the equivalency table, you must let them review that course and obtain that credit. Otherwise they won’t review your file. If you meet all the requirements, you definitely have a great chance.

2.Mostly, they send notifications on 15th every month. So May 15th, June 15th.

3.I don’t think they will ask you to send statements from professor. And I don’t think your last semester’s grade will be considered for admission decision. But they want to see you are keeping in good standing.

I’m also an international student, and I applied Electrical engineering as well for Fall 2013. So we are doing the same thing. Haha! Good luck!

I think I should ask my counselor for that course. Thanks for your reply Bryan. Good luck to you!

Did you get accepted?
