On my list of ten schools UDel is the only one that NEEDS a teacher recommendation and it is my farthest reach. My info:

GPA:3.45
SAT: 1140/1630
pretty good extracurriculars
I live in NJ and go to a fairy good public school(we don't rank)

It was my top choice but, I know I have a very small chance of getting in and I do not know who to get a teacher recommendation from (but could get one if needed). Is it even worth going through the trouble of getting a rec. or should i just skip it.

Btw can you chance me on my other schools

Rutgers
George Mason U
Drexel U
Hofstra U
Montclair State U
Rowan U
U of Rhode Island
West Chester U
Salisbury U

rutgers-match cause you’re from NJ (i am too)
George Mason U - match
Drexel U - match
Hofstra U - safety
Montclair State U - safety
Rowan U-high match
U of Rhode Island-reach
West Chester U-safety
Salisbury U-not too sure but i’d probably say you’re in

soccer- yea the deadline is 1/15, but the priority deadline is today and i think they will probably fill most of their freshman class with that.

jazlaumir- Montclair is definitely my safety which i don’t know so much about. If your not from NJ you might not know its about 15 miles from NYC, which is really cool and they have a train station right on campus which i think is awesome. It does have a commuter school reputation. I can’t say much about their academics, but i do not think it’s anything special

Montclair and Rowan are solid state schools. Some students who do not want to go to Rutgers look into Montclair, Rowan, Stockton, Ramapo, and William Paterson, IMO. Out of the schools I just listed, I would think that Ramapo is the most competitive to gain admission to, and probably Stockton is the easiest for gaining admission. The others fall in the middle. I left out the most competitive NJ public for those not interested in Rutgers, which is TCNJ.

Yanksfan, congratulations on your acceptances!
