What do your test scores look like? How is your writing (see: essays)? Good recs?

I like your GPA and that you're coming from a solid school in Penn St. (I'm assuming that's where you're currently attending). I may be saying this prematurely given the fact that I don't know your test scores, but it looks like you have a good chance. I would also emphasize that you taught English in Korea; that would seem like a really great essay topic. Your other ECs are relatively unimpressive, though. And your "honors" section is actually going to hurt you if you put it on there. Honor roll only in 9th and 12th grade? That shows academic inconsistency to the admissions committee. Also, "I got offered to be a supplemental tutor for Econ and Calc in my current college" means nothing unless you actually DID tutor. See my point? All of the other awards are trivial.

But, again, all of that means very little relative to your SAT/ACT scores.

I hope we both get in!
