Chance please?

<p>Hi everyone,
Can you please chance me for Cornell (Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management) Regular Decision?</p>

<p>Rank: 5/151
GPA : 4.465 weighted (I'm not sure what the unweighted GPA is, but I have mostly A's and a few A-'s)</p>

<p>SAT 2130 - retook it, but haven't gotten the scores yet
Math - 730
Reading - 670
Writing - 730</p>

I'm taking AP Bio, Lit and Comp, Spanish, Calculus, Govt Politics this year so I don't have those scores yet.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I don't have any extracurricular activities other than a job since 9th grade.</p>

<p>Your grades and academica are pretty good, above average for Cornell, but not outstanding. Other than that, your lack of extracurriculars besides your job and your lack of leadership will hurt you a lot. EC’s and leadership are pretty important from differentiating you from other applicants, so to stand out you would need really good essays and letters of recommendation. And, without EC’s they cannot really tell what you like/are passionate about. Truthfully, without EC’s it’s hard to chance you but I don’t think your chances are too great without them. However, with good EC’s and leadership you might have a pretty decent chance. Best of Luck!</p>
