<p>st aegis exactly what point did you make? you searched through my posts to find some bare stats i put in a caltech forum to ask a simple question and you reposted them here with his stats. you didnt even compare them, you just pasted both in and said they were similar. heres some news, most of the people applying are going to have similar stats, otherwise they wouldnt be applying or would be hopeless. so now im wondering exactly what it is that motivates you to "make your point" which must be some sort of code for "make yourself look like a jackass." i dunno, maybe i'm being too harsh, i mean it seems like you have a legitimate problem with ******baggery- that or you love humiliation because you're some sort of masochistic deviant.</p>

I always cringe when people rank each other/themselves by where they were accepted to. Never mind; I'm butting out of this now.</p>
<p>sure, but look at it this way, you can go to most institutions and the level of education wouldnt differ, you could go to a college like UW, and get the same education as though you went to stanford. Now, what happens when they try to get to graduate school, chances are that the stanford student has easier chances and oppurtunities. I am not discriminating against individual people, but realize that there are different paths and some are easier than others. Colleges form this sort of boundary..........</p>
