(your comments and why you chose as you did)

These are the colleges I feel like I know enough about:

Reach -- Ivies, Stanford, Duke
Slight Reach -- Berkeley, Chicago

Ultimately I feel like your application thus far is certainly not bad but unfortunately very average in the applicant pools for selective schools. I assume you are a rising junior and not a junior this year? If so you might consider retaking the SAT's if that was your first go although it's certainly not bad at all. Make sure you get 4-5's on AP's and 700+ on SAT II's and keep up on the good grades. Trying to develop a hook on your EC's would help a lot.

bump..bump

I'm a Junior to be senior who will graduate in 2009, the sat score was from my first test... however, I don't think I'll take the test again because my CR sucks and it might drop the next time I take it :(

^Your CR score does not suck. If you prepare and do some rigorous prep, then i'm sure you can get that 680 to above a 700. You're very close...and I don't see why it would drop the next time you took it.

Basically all of your dream schools are reaches. Berkeley and UChicago are probably slight reaches or high matches...and the rest you're likely to get into.

I'll keep you all posted on my subject tests and AP scores in the following months! Keep posting! :)

AP Scores came back and also an SAT II score--

Junior--
AP English Lang 5
AP Biology 5
AP Calculus BC/AB Subscore 5/5
AP Physics C: Mechanics 5
AP Physics C: E & M 4--very surprising because I studied for this one :P
SAT II World History -- 780 -- 94 percentile

btw, my SAT score percentiles are as follows for CR/M/W --> 93%/99%/99%

PLEASE RE-CHANCE ME!!!

bump

10char

very impressive stats.. especially the sats and gpa. the extracurriculars are good as well. I think you have a good chance at berkeley but the ivies are a reach.. but they are a reach for every one.. you need to emphasize a few extracurriculars in your essay i think so that it shows you have a passion for something.

hit me back please with some chances.. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/542887-chances-ucla.html
