I agree deadhead654.
Sarcasm doesn’t help too too much. :)

I spoke with my adviser at my CC (which has a transfer agreement with Cornell). She stated that bio is no longer required for the AEM program. When I say required, I mean is it suggested, but not required. I hate bio, my excel at Physics, so I plan on taking Physics with the calculus curriculum. Also, I called Cornell to verify this because I didn’t want to be stuck when I went to apply.

it isn’t required nor was it ever for the past 2 years that i have known AEM…it has always been recommended course to take before transferring… because …
- its a courses that fulfills the life science part of the graduation requirements. and you will be saving a lot of time getting it out of the way while you still remember a tat bit bio from high school…
- its what every body takes their freshman year at aem/cals
or they have the AP credits( i am not sure about this part)

Interesting. Do you think the Physics is enough to supplement it however? I plan on meeting all the recommenced course requirements, save for bio.

If I have both bio’s, I really hope those don’t get thrown away if the requirements are now changed.

So is Cornell a possibility? It would be my dream school…

come on man…do we really have to present this on a platter
you have already completed 2 years of cc and you are missing important courses that are needed to transfer into cornell/AEM as a junior,…and you dont even have any radical EC’s that just might over shadow your course history. i know how this is…dreaming about going to a top institute, getting your f**k on with equally attractive broads…ever body goes through this man…i am going through this right now…and will be till next year…anyways…stop dreaming big and go out man…go to a brothel and get your grove on…then come back and try to spring transfer to a state school school…there is always grad school…and i can tell if you don’t take this post the wrong way you might just give it all you got and finish your undergrad with sparkling results.
i frankly cant see you getting in…i am sorry and i am pretty sure you know that too…
but cheer up lad, you will live to fight another day

Jasonbourne, were you ****faced when you wrote this?
