Chance this Indian dude.

Hi, I'm an International Student from India (title duh) I was wondering if someone could chance me to :
U of Waterloo, HKU, NSU, Colgate and Trinity(CT)

I'm looking for a business/computer/Econ related course. ( pref BBA or Computer Science)

My (12th grade) XII CBSE results were 93.6%
95 - Accountancy, Business Studies and English
94- Math

89- Economics

I'n 10th I wrote IGCSE 1A*,2As,2Bs and 2Cs
11th I had around 80-87%ish (back to CBSE)

So there is a positive trend which is good right?

I wrote my SAT for the 1st time with 1 month prep on 8th nov 2014 and it was horrible (atleast the writing section, essay was dismal)

But I think I'll get a 660-700ish on CR and 740+ on math

ECs:
4 years of proper, regular community service( collecting donations, teaching underprivileged children, etc)
Represented school for numerous Business fests and athletics in other schools
Ranked 520th in India for 7th national commerce talent search exam
I'm in a Local band as a guitarist and I'm pretty good but I had no idea that there were levels and stuff lol (completely self taught and proud of it).

Lots of other Intramural activities

I think I'll require financial aid.

So please chance me and let me know if there are other colleges that I might have chances with or am eligible for significant financial aid.

Thank you.

Also, In the writing section only my essay was bad, everything else was great. Maybe I’ll get a 600 there? (optimistic thinking) X_X

To boost your writing I would check google SAT grammar rules, or the critical reader. It should help your scores some. Regarding the chances I only have experience with Colgate, which requires higher SAT scored than those you have at the moment.

Ah thanks, I only messed up the essay because of the time constraint.
Only SAT? Rest of my application is fine?

bump

anyone else? I’ll chance back lol.

^

Hi! I am a current student from India under the Faculty of Social Sciences at HKU! Although I didn’t sit for SAT but still I got into HKU! You can definitely submit an online admission application based on your past results and make sure you also apply for the scholarship! Best of luck! Btw application deadline is 30th December so do it as soon as possible to stand a better chance to even win a scholarship!
