<p>well, for about 6 months (when I was 6) we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment which had tons of cockroaches in Jersey City, NJ (THE inner city). We didn’t have a fridge b/c we were unsure if my dad would keep his job. I also lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for a year, then in Jersey City, then in Piscataway, then at my current HS. Now my dad makes 90K/yr (my mom is not a college grad). I dont know if my moving around, immigrant experience qualifies as some hardship or anything. Can I bring it out anywhere on my app?</p>
<p>Last year I would have said a definite yes, but now after seeing this year’s admissions I’m not sure. A lot more depends on the essays and such. A lot of really good applicants with comparable stats to yours were turned down but I had a friend waitlisted for College of Ag and Life Sci with a really bad sat score. It seemed really random this year.</p>
<p>I think with the right essays and such you have a pretty good shot though.
