The high school that i'm attending is really competitive suburban school, which send 5 to Harvard, 5 to MIT, and 10+ to Stanford, and 10+ to cornell as well.

assuming that my recs are pretty good and essay is relativley strong....

please evaluate my chances for AEM early... I am sorry again and thank you. I just want to prepare so that i don't get major depression...:(

“Threats”… scared me for a second.

people plz…

I say you have a pretty decent shot, like you said, assuming you have good essays and recs.

it’s…threats???or…show off???

typo there… i wasn’t even aware until phuriku pointed out. please excuse my mistake. and not show off at all… :)

I’d say your chances are kind of slim

You have a great GPA, but it didn’t seem like you took enough AP’s, and your SAT is kind of low.

Advice: you might not want to put private lessons on ec, it’s just too obvious of a space filler

Your SAT is fine. As said above, all of the “private” notations show that you aren’t really going to give anything to the Cornell community.

Lack of AP courses, and no school ECs. Those are what will bring you down. I’d say that you don’t have anything spectacular going for you, but you really should have a shot. Probably 25-40%. So you aren’t complete out of it ;)

5 AP’s is not a lack of AP courses if there aren’t many offered. Some people also take college-level courses that are not spec. AP

I’d say you have at least a decent chance.. And at this point, it’s really too late to do anything about it. If you really want to be prepared for ED day, simply expect failure so that if you actually don’t get accepted, it won’t be as harsh a disappointment. It’s what someone told me, and though it’s pessimistic, it’s a good philosophy to follow, college admissions wise. It’s the only thing that’s keeping me sane right now - the dread of failure at admissions is whats stopping me from counting down the seconds till notifications go out. Good luck though!
