Chance to Engineering?

you included a description??
well all of mine basically have nothing to do with architecture. LOL I heard they’re looking for created thinking that’s not restricted to design/archi stuffs. who knows.

yeah i did for a few of them, half of my pieces were architecturally type, like the apartment, I included a page with description and an organizational diagram of connections of the spaces of how the apartment was laid out and what is useless place and its contemplation. and then for the self portrait, I did my self, and I stuck a pencil in place that I used to “make” the sketch, like the pencil refers to the process of formation of self portrait as a tool, and so it like becomes a testament to my “self”, so like that’s a deconstruction of the layers of process in creating a work of art. for like the grid, I made like 9 roof designs 3D and stuck them in a grid manner, like I made my own inserts, lol i’d be funny if they hate it, it’ll be such a laugh, I am more conceptual art oriented, i mean that’s what I’ve shown in galleries, but I don’t know what happens

Woooow I didn’t know everyone went conceptual. Mine’s even more conceptual than yours, I don’t know if that’s a good thing or bad. For example my apartment one was just an empty room deprived of all furnishings and windows. On the surface it looks like a useless space, but I layered it with cut plans: one a path of hidden speakers, one a path of light, one a path of floor heating. So when a person enters he/she actually utilizes the room as a guide according to the senses. That was my only architecture-related one. The rest are really really simple ideas and not much drawing involved. :P

we should talk more in private, I feel like we’re taking up too much space in this engineering thread. xD
maybe in private chat/ email/ fb? we could become friends.
