yea... i dont even deal with the parking problem anymore... i a few blocks away (close to ocean park--- if you park near michigan your car might get stolen) and walk... it's a 10 minute walk... i never have a problem with finding a spot and always have an easy exit. I was on campus at 9:30-- it wasnt as crowded as monday... i have to go back at 2... not looking forward to it.

Seeing as how many of the questions posted pertain to one's admission chances as a community college student, I was wondering if anyone knew the statistics for applicants from four year universities? I am currently a California resident applying from an east coast school, and I am curious if they are as leniant in gpa standards. Thanks.

So when you apply in the fall to transfer, UCs want to see about 30 units with a lot of IGETC finished? Do AP credits apply? I have an AP (World History) that my community college won't accept, but UCs will. Well, not Berkeley since they are retarded in their major requirements and won't accept AP credits as major classes! But as for UCLA, UCSD, and etc...do they also take into consideration how many major prep classes you've done?

i think your AP credit has to be accepted by your CC but talk to your counselor anyway

UCSB TAA is not available to all CC. Only a handful CC with students who did well in UC after transferring. So if your school has no contract with UCSB you'll need more than 2.8.
