I’m an Alabama resident, but went out of state for freshman year. I was in a pretty bad accident spring semester that required hospital and surgery. I had to withdraw and move back home to recover. I’m just now starting to drive again. What are my chances of getting into Fall 2016 as a transfer? Currently have 3.47 GPA with 15 hours complete. Taking 15 more hours at an Alabama community college this summer. Grades will post on August 4. Is this too late for fall admission if I apply now and list these classes as “in process”? I could wait until spring to start, but would really like to enter as a sophomore in the fall to stay on track for my degree.
I should have also stated that my HS stats are not great (2.7 GPA 20 ACT), so I need to enter as a transfer rather than a freshman. I know reqs for transfer are 24 credit hours and 2.0 GPA. So for me the question is more about timing of my summer CC hours to get admitted for Fall.
