Chance UPenn CAS, Yale, Brown, Brandeis, NYU, BU, UMass-Amherst, URI

-summer job one year
-will have organized a 5K for cancer by application submission
-maybe V cross country(cocaptain), V indoor track, V outdoor track

My List:
1) UPenn CAS ED
2) Yale
3) Brown
4) NYU
5) Brandeis
6) BU
7) UMass-Amherst
8) URI

How many schools are you/should you apply to?

UPenn seems to be your dream school. It, along with Yale and Brown are reaches. URI is your safety. The rest are all varying degrees of matches. Also, eight schools is a solid number colleges to which to apply.

I think you have very good shot at Penn CAS ED. I believe you’ll get into NYU(unless it is stern), Brandeis, BU, UMass and URI without difficulty. Brown would be a small reach and Yale would be a pretty big reach.

Thanks for chancing mine :)

Oh yeah, what are ickes? I saw you wrote that on my post

Thanks :)

It was probably autocorrect  probably ivies

Ickies = ivies that have rejected you.xD Expect a post about this in the coming months. I’ll create it!

UPenn: Reach
Yale: Reach
Brown: Reach
NYU: Match
Brandeis: Low match/Match
BU: Low match/Match
UMass Amherst: Safety
URI: Safety (especially since you had As at URI)

GPA is great considering the amount of APs you have taken–rigor will benefit the (slightly) low GPA. Your EC are average for applicants to these schools, and u do demonstrate leadership as president of a club so that is a good quality to ‘show off’ to admissions committees. You SAT is slightly low for Yale ( 40th percentile) and UPenn, (50%) BUt fine for Brown (60-65%).

) UPenn CAS ED—b/c ED i would say low reach (it is even for the best of applicants)–i think u will get in, though
2) Yale reach
3) Brown low reach
4) NYU match
5) Brandeis match
6) BU match
7) UMass-Amherst match
8) URI match

chance back!

Already chanced you :)

Bumppppp :)

How much can you afford? It might affect whether you should cut NYU or BU from your list or not.

My family is high income but I would definitely consider costs
