gpa- 3.5-3.6 uw, 3.8 weighted?
ACT- 28 - which is pretty bad since I got around 30 in practice tests and I plan on retaking it october.
I live in-state.
Well, I just want to know if I could get in to LSA if I send in the application by the end of this week. I got the teacher rec and working on my essays and I'm sure I'll be done by the end of the week.
help!

slight reach. b/c of gpa.

slight reach. your gpa hurts you a bit since the average is 3.7-3.9.

well, I want to thank you guys for helping me.
So, does that mean I have little chance of getting in?
My brother goes there and I visited the campus numerous times and I really love it.
So, should I study hard for the ACT?
Will getting a higher score on ACT help me??
I really want to go to U of M........

if your schedule is tough then your chances are ok. a higher ACT score will obviously help. also, work on getting your first semester grades as high as poissible; u-m will probably want to see them.

Thank you!!
I'm working hard to get straight A's this semester.
I have one B now but I might be able to bring that up.

And I have a question for teachers rec.
My teacher spelled my name wrong on the recommendation.
She used to spell it that way last year and many people spell my name that way cause my name is kind of hard to spell.
Should I ask her to fix it for me or not?

absolutely

Absolutely???
I sould ask her to fix my name??
ok.
thankyou.

I think my unweighted gpa is 3.7, and 3.5-3.6 is actually including the quarter grades.
Michigan only looks at semester grades, right?
My high school averages all the grades including the quarter grades for the report cards and I thought that only the semester grades count....
