other colleges:
Wellesley 1st choice
Smith, Boston College, Brandeis

Your extracurriculars and academics all seem very respectable, but since nothing stands out particularly strong, it might be a good idea to try to emphasize a certain passion in your essay. how extensive is the work you're doing for intel?

elle, Your scores are okay, but your grades are a little on the low side. What's your rank?

I think that being an Asian American female is actually a plus at Williams, while it may not be at the urban schools that you are considering. I agree with yogini, that you need to submit a strong application that focuses on your persona, and that your essays and recommendations reinforce your interests. Which of your activities do you really LOVE?

Sports and music is always a good combination for Williams. If you intend to continue golf or band, emphasize this. If you excel at your instrument, submit a performance tape.

Same for your writing. Submit a few (maximum three) examples of your poems. Make sure one of your recommenders mentions your talent.

Your writing, your tutoring, your internship are also positives. You just need to pull your activities together in a compelling package. Just think about how they will visualize you: Korean/golfer/musician/poet/scientist. This is all good, but it's up to you to communicate your diverse interests, talents and accomplishments in your application.

I don't think anyone will correlate your grades to the intended major you list on your application. I would go ahead and indicate that you're interested in biology and creative writing as both are important extracurriculars for you.
