heck, you're fine. you bested my sat by like, 100 points. i got a 2 on the ap chem and a 3 on german. didn't take any sat 2's.

the only extracurriculars i had were photo club and president of german club. plus i work and play a bunch of instruments. nothing fancy like you. i got in without a hitch. wasn't even waitlisted.

i really hate these kinds of threads now. i know they make you feel better, but it's hardly useful in the long run. do the best you can, have fun senior year, and don't blow your mind out trying to stress the college search.

i pretty much underachieved (by vassar standards, however) and still got it. likewise, it's more than just academics. it's the whole package. BE a good candidate, and you'll have a good chance.

My d had a higher GPA and SAT I (higher than you're shooting for), and a higher ACT. She had lower SAT II scores. She was waitlisted at Vassar (and Vassar didn't reach the waitlist this year).

I don't think that a school which takes fewer than 30% of its applicants can be considered a "match" for anyone.
