<p>sorry guys i couldn't find the thread for fall 2011 transfer chances.</p>

<p>my speech class gave me a B- which brought me down to a 2.98 =( . Speech teacher's stubborn but my English teacher said shes willing to let me raise the grade she gave me tho, so crossing fingers on raising it to a 3.0.</p>

<p>in case i have to apply with a 2.98, what are my chances of getting into UCI? and what can i do to increase them?</p>

<p>Without TAG… Not too good. The average admitted GPA (since TAG students often exceed 3.0) is in the mid-3’s (3.3-3.5, roughly) for Irvine. </p>

<p>TAG at Davis only requires a 2.9. Make sure to apply for it as a backup.</p>
