unweighted is like a 3.8 i think but it’s not on the transcript or anything

also, i don’t know how scholarships work? any chance? cuz there’s probably no way i’m getting financial aid, but there is also no way my parents will be paying for my whole tuition

I got a 2090 on the SATs, with a 3.5 unweighted GPA and got $10,000 per year in merit aid. Unfortunately for you though, I don't think BU gives much credit to the writing section of the SAT.

Yeah you have a good chance of getting in, and the merit aid is up for debate. My GPA was 3.5 (my school doesn't weight) and my ACT (I didn't send in my SATs because I decided early that I did better on the ACT) was a 32, which is supposed to be equivalent to 1410-1450 combined math and verbal sections. I got the half-tuition scholarship (the best merit aid they have) and I think what helped me a lot was that I took two AP classes my Junior year and four AP classes my Senior year. It's pretty amazing what a challenging course load can do for you when you end up with a GPA like mine. I always hear about much, much higher ones. BU also put me in Honors, even though I was in the third decile of my class.

yeah, i actually think they take SATs quite a bit into consideration for your merit scholarship. at another school i applied to, they gave out scholarships BASED off your SAT score... best of luck!
