I am talking about the 2,000 to 10,000 scholarships. Has anybody received one of these and how long did it take to get notified after the acceptance?

From the website:

Chancellor's Nominee Scholarships Based largely on academic achievement in high school and SAT I or ACT results. $2,000 to $10,000

Based on past posts, it's hard to figure Pitt's time span. Some students have heard just after receiving acceptance; other hear much later. I don't know how they do things - and it's challenging to get a clear response from OAFA. My D was accepted into the Honors College in Oct; got a full scholarship in December. Finally heard about the Chancellor's itself yesterday. (No interview, but with all the qualified students, we weren't surprised.) FYI: At one point in Nov, just before Thanksgiving, I got a very cooperative woman on the phone who must have heard the anxiousness in my voice because my D was reluctant to apply elsewhere. But we're OOS, so she couldn't attend Pitt unless there was merit $$.. The woman looked up D's name on a "list" and gave an approx.time frame of when my D might hear about $$$. Anyway, hope this helps.....It can be very frustrating!
