Chancellor's Scholorship Questions

Is anyone else applying for this, or know how many people apply each year/ how many scholorships are awarded? Also, do I have to go to madison if I'm awarded one? When would I find out? Many thanks.

My daughter is applying for that and the Powers-Knapp. The Chancellor's, according to the wisc.edu website, offers up to 40. I don't know if that is per class or what. The Powers-Knapp, given by the Chancellor's Program (just less), offers up to 60. If you have a Question, thier # is (608) 262- 9315.

I'm also applying also. If you applied for the chancellor's program will you also be considered for powers-knapp?

Kitty, I believe so. The requirements are the same, are both put on by the Chancellor's program, and have the same address. The application process did require 3 copies of everything listed on the form so perhaps that's for the different scholarships. Have you both been accepted yet? My D just received her 'YES' letter in the mail friday. She was accepted to 5 other schools and now we're waiting for the financial packages. The Chancellor's Scholarship would be hard to beat! Good luck to both of you.

Kitty, being from Texas, are you worried about the weather at all?

everyone in here's screenname starts with a "j", except for me.

Yes. That is a big issue for me but I'll just have 2 get use to it. I mean how bad could it be ={

My niece is a soph there. She too is from Arizona and hasn't really complained too much. I did hear though that they had to cancell an Ice fishing contest because it was too cold. Hve you finished your scholarship app proccess?
