chances after deferral?

<p>I recently recieved a deferral letter in the mail. I was wondering what the chances were of getting into chicago through RD. Chicago is still my top choice school, so I will be sending additional information. Does U of Chicago reject many EA applicants? Or do they defer most of the applicants that aren't accepted under EA? Thanks</p>

<p>one of our posters talked to admissions, and was told that they are admitting, deferring and rejecting in roughly equal numbers. The EA round was pretty competitive - 400 more applications than last year. You should have a valid shot RD. Suggestions for deferrals are on this thread:</p>
