Overall, I’m just an ordinary kid in comparison to other applicants, and wanting to accept in some of these colleges.
I just got my predicted scores and I am so worried. So Please, would wonderful you guys have a look and Tell me?
Physics will probably need to be higher for the UK (and US for that matter) if you want anything science related.
How do you know your individual scores? Or are those just estimates? Students usually aren’t told the individual scores (for each class) so just wondering.
Agree with ^^^^ for the California UC’s in that your ACT score is too low for consideration. You need to be in the 30+ range for a decent chance. SJSU will also be a tough admit, but your chances are better at that school.
Those IB scores would be a problem for the good UK schools too. UK schools usually have their minimum requirements on their sites, e.g glasgow, 36 points for CS. UK schools seems to want HL math in stem areas. Are you a US student? Your IB subject choices are interesting, with 2 languages? Why the AB if you have chinese? How do your IB subjects reflect your choice of major?
@Seoyo1 Students with your ACT score range have an 18.53% shot at UCLA and Berkeley so low chances , 46.4% at UCI, 33.8% at UCSD based on their admissions statistics. The other universities you mentioned aren’t that selective so I would say you have a pretty good shot around 35%-45%. For the UK simply get the admissions requirements and your in especially if your international since they charge you double the fees of domestic students. UK unis aren’t that selective at all bar Oxford, Cambridge and LSE for economics aswell as courses like law or medicine.
