tough luck

Thanks! Anyone else?

Oh yeah, forgot about subject tests, 800 math 2, 780 physics, 700 USH

bump .

All ivies are reaches regardless of stats. Everything else is a match IMHO.

I’m assuming you clumped Duke in there as an Ivy? Duke is also a reach, regardless of stats.

I know what McGill’s like since I live in Canada. Everyone who has an average of at least 85% seems to get in here in Canada (we don’t have standardized tests). With those stats, you’re definitely a shoe in.

I’m not sure about Harvard or Princeton, but I think you’d get into all the other universities. Good luck.

HPSM - 15-20% each
cornell - 70%
all others - in

Thanks for chancing me.

NC State - definite match
UNC Chapel Hill - definite match
McGill - ???
Duke - match
UChicago - match
MIT * - match
Stanford - match
Carnegie-Mellon - match, at most a low-reach, because I’ve heard about CM admissions
Cornell *
Princeton *
Harvard *

*= you have the stats but those are schools that can deny any student admissions just because

NC State - safety
UNC - match
Duke - low reach
UChicago - match
MIT - reach
Stanford - low reach
Carnegie-Mellon - match
Cornell - match
Princeton - high reach
Harvard - high reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/760761-chance-me-please-only-cornell-ed-if-youre-short-time.html

Played for President Obama? Hot damn!!

what state are you in? UNC-CH is reallyyyyyyyy hard to get into OOS, so I really don’t know if you would get in (if you’re from OOS). If you’re in NC, then you’re in.

Yeah I’m in NC. I realize how ridiculously hard it is to get in OOS and I’m really glad I’m in state.

if you’re in-state, you have a great chance at duke as well. the ivys are reaches and the rest you’ll be fine at. good luck!

Hmm youre good for anything but HYPSM and even those you have as good of a hot as anyone. Stats wise id say youre good for any school. Write great essays and dont come off cocky

I’m not an expert on guessing chances for colleges, so take my opinions with a grain of salt. Lol. But it definitely sounds like you’d be a great catch for any college you apply to! :)

NC State - match
UNC Chapel Hill - match
McGill - match
Duke - low reach
UChicago - match, depending on how great your essays are
MIT - reach
Stanford - reach
Carnegie-Mellon - match
Cornell - match
Princeton - reach
Harvard - reach

So I wouldn’t be too worried about the college app process if I were you. Lol. Just do your best on your essays–convey intelligence, confidence, ambition, an interesting point of view, etc, and you should be golden. But, of course, schools like Harvard, Princeton, and MIT are always crapshoots. Haha.

Thanks for chancing me, by the way! :)

NC State-definite Safety (apply for the Park, I think you have a good shot)
UNC Chapel Hill- match (you’ll get some sort of scholarship here, definitely Carolina Scholarship, maybe even Robertson or Moorehead)
McGill - don’t know
Duke - high match/low reach
UChicago - high match
MIT - reach
Stanford - reach (maybe SCEA ?)
Carnegie-Mellon - match
Cornell - match
Princeton - reach
Harvard - reach

OP - you go to Broughton?

I should state that I intend to apply to UNC, NCSU, UChicago and MIT early action, and the rest regular action.

I’m probably going to apply for the Park as well.
