Chances at a University of California [ UCs ].....

Which UC are you currently attending ? How was the experience there? Dorm? Food ? etc

volleyball theory, sounds rigorous, im applying for it at my own school but they wont let me in....i failed the admissions test :(((((

You were born in Los Angeles.
You are a 11th grader.
Your parents came to US 14 years ago.
You are indeed very bright and very very young.
13 year old 6 feet 6 asian volleyball player?
Go get a BS, MS, and PHD

How does that not add up? There are quite a few extremely intelligent child prodigies who are now attending UCLA during their early teen years...

Some possibilities:
BS
Adopted
Mom gave birth on travel visa (but this trick is usually used by
wealthy folks who can afford it)

He is going to get a BS, MS, and PHD from UCLA.

You might want to think about CSUs, rather than UCs. A lot of the UCs are becoming extremely hard to get into, and if your GPA is only in the low 3.whatevers, then you either have to get at least a 4.0 this year, or do an amazing job in sports and essays on college apps. Try for some of the newer UCs; they'll probably be easier to get in for you.

intersting point

what else is he lying about?

that was a typo......

My parents came to the US like 2-3 years before I was born.....so i forgot the EXACT date WHEN my parents came here..... it was such long time for me to remember!

I was born in LA in 1988 and I'm 16 years now. This is the truth for sure.

I know my parents came BEFORE me but I don't know EXACTLY what year.

Again, sorry for the typo and NO.... I'm not TRYING to lie...

My goal is to make it to any UCs besides UCR & UCMerced. Riverside is not an ideal place for me to socialize and learn. The environment & weather there is totally different from where I live now which is a little bit cooler.

I would love it if UCSantaCruz accept me. No doubt, I would take it in a heart beat!

I just visit Cal Poly Pomona, the one backup school I am considering to apply to but all of the Cal State schools seem really rural or ghetto.

No offense to anyone going there but it just seems like my high school's student body which is a big NO-NO for me. I dislike rural environement/cow town type of schools.

My wish..... any UCs besides UCR & UCM !!!!!!! Go beach!

To me your sat score is too banal....and not really strong GPA.

Only thing that saves you is your very strong EC.

I would say aim for the bottom UC?

I'm going to retake the SAT Reasoning & SAT Subject tests again........ the score I posted was my 1st time taking it....... =[

I'm still waiting for my ACT scores I took a couple weeks ago (June 11). I have a feeling that I did really well on it. In the meantime, I will post it up once I receive my results...

most informed applicants take one of the two cal polys before one of the bottom tier UCs. that's the smart play.
