<p>good ec’s. you should at least write an oustanding essay to make up for your sat score. its pretty low for top notch colleges but your sat2s are good enough.
focus on your sat score and raise it by at least 200 points to get more competitive!
I’d say the colleges you want to apply to are all reaches for you (they are for nearly anyone) but raise that score!!!

<p>the good news is that colleges recalculate your academic GPA. That means A-'s will count as 4.0’s. If you’re a junior, get your SAT up to a 2200+ (with at least a 700 on each section) or your ACT to a 34+. You’ll have a relatively good chance if you do that. If you’re a senior, tough luck. Your 800 in Korean isn’t going to be that impressive since you are Korean, even if it’s not your first language. I’m not sure if homecoming king will really make a difference in your app, since it’s primarily a popularity contest, or maybe it shows you have a personality? I don’t really know what the effect of homecoming king will be.</p>
