chance at-
any ivies
chicago EA or NU ED?

anyone please?

i am only a sophmore so you might not wana listen to me...
You did a lot with extracurriculars but are you saying that so far you had only 2 ap classes and 1 honors and you are going to take 4 ap's ur senior? did i undestand you correctly?

i always get an impression that they like to see students have challenging classes.

right now i am a sophmore and have cumulative 2 ap classes and 7 honors for my freshman and sophmore years...junior year planning to take 4 ap classes, and 3 honors and 1 community college, and senior have all ap

sry it's late and i am tired so i don't bother with grammar or any of that...because some people get cranky at that

^Did you noticed that you didn't really bother at all with the chances but compared yourself instead (saying what classes you're taking)? That's not really the point of a "My Chances" thread...

To the OP, I think you have amazing credentials, and although one could say your GPA in comparison to your class strength may be shaky, I think you're in the competitive group.

despite your not so rigorous courseload, if you can bump that sat even a bit more, that'll help a lot

I love how people put any ivy....

hahaahha

bummmmmmmmp... any ideas on chicago EA? or nu ED?

sorry...i am new so i don't really know...i was just comparing that's all

^Don't be sorry! I wasn't trying to make you feel bad or anything. I guess I was wrong too, because I pre-assumed that your goal was to compare yourself.

bummmmmmmmp

i think nobody has answered you because your position is hard, you don't have the stats that most people post on this forum (don't feel bad, you're in better shape than i am, and i'm prolly still applying to ivies), but that of course doesn't mean anything. You are definately competitive at any school, and if you take some more AP's next year, and continue your upwards trend, i'd say you have an excellent shot at any school. All you have to remember is that applying to ivies is a gamble for anybody, no matter how good you are.

As for chicago, i'd say you have a better than average chance

Good Luck!

thanks man. finally someone has some sense.

heh, no problem
