Just thought I would let you know how it turned out. She applied ED to Bates, got deferred to regular admission. Got accepted at both Bates and Conn College, among others and got 20K merit scholarship at Conn 
Declined at Middlebury. Trying to chose and in the end maybe go to Holyoke.
