<p>I hope you have more ECs than that... were you a member of a club? Lead one? Did research? Seriously, volunteering 50 hours can be done in less than two weeks during the summer. </p>
<p>I hope your soccer thing is very significant. If the 3.8 is your weighted GPA, I'd say Berkeley is a low match based on your SAT scores.</p>

<p>That Essay topic seems a little.... amateur for Berkeley. You have great SAT's and you are taking AP's so your "low" (not actually low, but for their standards it is a little low) is a result of the difficult course load. Blue Ribbon school... don't tell me you go to Lowell! (If you do go to Lowell and have a 3.83, that is very impressive so forget the statements above.) I would say it's a match but your EC's aren't very spectacular. Anyways I would say it's a Low Match/Reach.</p>
