well the ACT offsets the SAT so dont worry about your tests, your grades and coursework are good and you ECs arent nearly as bad as everyones saying

in at northwestern and Wash U
id say you have more than a 50% chance at Yale, but you cant ever really tell with those schools unless your name is God and you have infinite power over college acceptance

Your most likely admit is Yale, then WashUStL if you competed for the scholarships, strong chance at Northwestern if you applied ED, otherwise 60/40 chance for NU. The liklihood is that you put more effort & committment into your Yale application than for the other two. The "Why NU?" essay for Northwestern university is taken quite seriously. Students with higher scores have been rejected--not even deferred or waitlisted--at NU over the past few years. Try to add some more realistic choices as this year is ultra competitive & your advantage would have been to apply ED somewhere. Please keep us posted as the results will be interesting. I hope that you are admitted to all of your schools, but without applying to special programs at WashU or NU, you may have a lesser chance than others have opined. For example, one of the nation's most elite prep schools got only one of nine applicants admitted to Northwestern University last year even though this group had multiple Ivy acceptances.

Just a follow-up for others to compare.

Waitlisted at Wash. U, in at Northwestern. As for Yale, I hear tomorrow. :D
