<p>Hello all, I applied early action. Here's the list of general stuff:</p>
<p>SAT Math: 690
SAT Reading: 690
GPA (through Junior year; weighted): 95.5
Juinior Year was my best GPA
-73 hours of community service, not business related
-Good amount of ECs, especially played up the music stuff and one business-oriented club
-Good essay
-Provided counselor with Informals covering all subjects, including Business. He said they were great for whatever that's worth
-Good formal recommendation from AP History Teacher</p>
<p>My only worries is that I'm getting a couple of B-pluses (AP Microeconomics and AP Statistics) in the first Senior year marking period that seem hold more weight when applying to a business school. I also had two B-pluses in three years of math courses and one A. A in Accounting and A+ in some 9th grade introductory business course.</p>
<p>Apparently SOM is extremely competitive. Do I have what it takes to get in the program? The paranoia is killing me.</p>
<p>omg same yo. thats my top choice skool. its apparently rlly competitive. im applying ea also! ur making me worried cuz ur better stats than me! i have 680,690,800 sat , with only a 90.5ish gpa Unweighted. </p>

<p>and u have a very solid shot, prob much more so than me. 
i think its a target/high safety for u. B/c no matter how competitve it is at the end of the day its still binghamton-not uchicago. so with a 93gpa , aps and honors, and a 1380 sat (as long as u have good ec’s too) u should have a like 75% chance. </p>
<p>and btw ur senior year grades will not in any way effect ur admissions decision for early actoin appliers, so its totally fine.</p>
<p>Thanks a lot! If I were you I’d be pretty confident in getting into the school. GPA is a tiny bit low, but your SAT should make up for it.</p>
<p>Are you sure about the senior grades thing? Early Action is November 15th and the marking period ends more than a week or so before the deadline.</p>
<p>haha. yea absolutely . ive looked into it, b/c first like month i was having trouble get back into sckool mode after the summer and got rlly scared. but EA desicions are given back by LATEST early january. Which means they wont see ur report card at all until after uve been accepted or rejected. (hopefully accepted)</p>

<p>I have a 710 M 620 Reading. I am incredibly worried though, I don’t know if i am going to make it. I go to an incredibly competitive private school in NJ that deflates grades, and is very rigorous. I have about a 3.5/4 but this semester senior year i had a 3.8/4. I am an out of stater does that help?</p>
