GPA- 3.5UW (3.8 for junior year and 4.0 for senior year so far)\4.3W (5.0 for senior year so far)
Rank- on the lower end of the top 10%
SAT- 760M 760CR 680W 1520\2200, I only took them twice and with nearly identical scores
SATII- I have taken American History and Math 2 but not yet received the scores, but I got a 5 on the AP exam for history and a 760 on SATI math, so I think I did pretty well.
APs- 5 in American History, 4 in English Language, 5 in Macroeconomics, and 4 in American Government
Senior Courses: AP Physics B (2 credits), AP Psychology, AP European History, AP English Literature, AP Microeconomics, CP Statistics (the only math that fit in my schedule), and Modern World Issues.</p>
<p>ECs:
Scholastic Scrimmage (general knowledge quiz bowl team), captain. I've been involved since freshman year and have been on varsity since sophomore year. Two years ago we were in conference semifinals and the semifinals of a 40 school tournament. Last year we were 2nd place in district and in the semifinals of the same tournament.
Debate, cross examiner, we were conference champions last year.

<p>My essay is pretty good, about how comedy like SNL and the Daily Show got me interested in politics during the 2008 election and then in just trying to get the jokes I found that it was something I really loved.
One of my teacher recommendations is going to be very good (from my physics teacher I had for honors last year and I have for AP this year), and the other is going to be absolutely amazing (from the teacher I had last year for AP government and AP macroeconomics, and I have again this year for AP microeconomics, and who runs debate, mock trial, and students for political action).</p>
