Chances at COLA

So I've been looking online for spring transfer stats to wage my chances of getting in to UT. I applied for a spring of '12 transfer. I am sitting on 52 hrs (with 13 coming this next semester) and a 3.19 GPA. I have an academic scholarship at my current university, Houston Baptist. I know I have a lot of hours and redisceny at UT would be a concern however I am currently a business major looking to switch my degree to psychology and keep a business minor. Therefor I would be applying for College of liberal Arts. I have a strong academic resume, although my grades haven't been at there best this past year, I know my essays are strong, and I plan to submit 4 letters of recommendations, 2 UT alums and 2 current professors of mine.

What do y'all think my chances are? If you have them any good statistics out there I could view

GPA is a little low. I’d do the best you can to raise them. Average for COLA is 3.5 if I remember correctly.

Well I do plan on pulling a 4.0 this fall semester but seeing as I applied for spring transfer wont my transcript already be set in stone by the time my fall semester grades are posted…as that will only be weeks before the spring semester is to begin

Yes, the only time they wait for other grades is when your completing your 30hrs then they will add the new GPA. Beeing that you applied with 52hrs means they will base the decision on the transcript you sent. Your GPA is kind of low, even for Cola. I got into Cola with 3.5 ,30HRS. When I first joined this group, I was told a 3.5 is almost guaranteed. Keep your head up, and just do the best you can.
