Chances at Davidson College?

Hi, I am a first-generation male senior who attends a well-respected Catholic high school. So far I have been accepted to RPI ($10,700/year), Clemson ($10,000/year), U of Miami, wait-listed at Wash U in St. Louis and I was rejected from Colby (my supplement essay was horrendous though). Also, not sure if this makes a difference, but I am the only kid from my school that is applying to Davidson, I meet with my admissions counselor when she visited my school and I visited Davidson.

Major: Mathematics

SAT: M-730 CR-670
SAT II: Math II-750

GPA: 3.3 unweighted
Rank: 36 out of 227
I will have taken four AP classes by the end of high school: AP US History, AP Physics:C, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics

Extracurriculars:
-raised over $1300 for Make-A-Wish through fundraising events over two summers and received a Silver Star of Excellence from a local news station
- All-State Clarinet
- Concert Band
- Indoor Track
- Varsity Golf team
- Math Peer tutoring
- Billiards Club Champion
- National Honors Society
- over 300 hours of community service
- Ambassadors Club

Recommendations- Superb. Both from math teachers that my improvement. For the first two years of high school math was my worst subject but it is now my best.
Peer Recommendation- Very Good.
Essay- Excellent. Wrote about math in a unique way.
Honor Code Essay- Probably the weirdest essay that the Admissions counselor will have ever read. I wrote about Caramello candy and intertwined the honor code.

Thanks!!!!

Are you sure Davidson operates on the 1600 scale? If not, I’m going to assume that the writing score is the average of the other two subscores unless proven otherwise.

Davidson: Reach (I think it is reachable)

Pretty sure you could get in. Your GPA might have been a little bit better, but I think you will be fine.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the replies so far! Anymore would be greatly appreciated!
