Chances at Duke

I am a junior and am wondering about my chances for early decision to Duke. The following are my stats:
Location: Large Public School in South Carolina of about 2300 students.

GPA: Weighted: 3.99; Unweighted: 5.15
Class Rank: 3/658

SAT: 1400; Verbal 650, Math 750; SAT II's: I just took the World History SAT II and I am planning on taking Biology, Spanish, and Math II next year.

AP Classes: I will have taken the following AP courses by the time I graduate: Human Geography, World History, Statistics, Calculus AB, English Language, Government, U.S. History, Biology, Computer Science, Spanish, English Literature, Physcology, Economics, Physics. (I expect decent scores in all of my classes, although I have heard that colleges don't really consider your AP scores in the admission process).

Extra-Curriculars: Co-Captain of the Speech and Debate Team (Awards include National Forensic League National Qualifier, Team State Champion, Superior Distinction Degree, All-American); Eagle Scout (Several Leadership positions and service projects in Boy Scouts and a part of scouting for 10 years), Youth in Government (Won elections for Youth Attorney General and Youth Governor of entire South Carolina region); Captain of the Academic Team (Nationally Qualified), National Honor Society, Beta Club.
I have also had a job for a very long time and plan to be a part of an internship this summer. I have started my own company in which I build websites for local companies and help repair computers.

I know my SAT's aren't that great, but I was hoping I still had a decent shot at Duke. If anyone could give me any further information, it would be great.

This all looks good. I'd say your chances are good, but I would prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Just because your qualified to get in doesn't always guarentee you will. The salutatorian of my graduating class this year got rejected or waitlisted from all the ivies he applied to.

Yeah you have a shot at Duke, but it's not an exceptional one. You can (and should) retake the SAT.

Weighted: 3.99; Unweighted: 5.15

excuse me? I assume you mean the other way around.

yea, sorry, it is the other way around

u should def retake SAT's to have a more solid shot. Ur lookin pretty good though.Keep it up

do i have a pretty good shot at early acceptance, i hear its a whole lot easier to get in through ea. If I get rejected though, will i automatically be deffered or have I lost my chance all together?

i didn't think duke offered ea, only ed
if you're rejected during ed, you are just that, rejected
if deferred, then they re-evaluate you during rd
