<p>My GPA is around 3.6 ish and my SAT score is 2070. I have taken around 4 honors courses and 7 APs in my 4 years in high school. I've volunteered in China at orphanages for children with disabilities and have been a member of the Red Cross Youth Corps for the past 4 years. I've been a member of the National Honors Society for the past 4 years also.
What are my chances?
and if i dont have a chance, what colleges would you recommend that are within my reach?

<p>I think Duke is a legit option for you. Your GPA is kinda low, but if you could bring that SAT up a little more, I think youd be in. A girl from my school got in there last year, and her SAT wasn't much better, but she was #1 in her class and had a perfect GPA. But I think it still would be worth applying. If not Duke, why not Wake Forest or Davidson? Both of those schools are amazing private schools in stellar locations. (But then again, I'm from NC so I'm partial to their schools.) UNC-Chapel Hill is another awsome school, and if your from in-state, your a shoo in... But if youre out of state mabey not. Anyways, good luck!!</p>
<p>yea duke seems like a far reach b/c the sat score and gpa are both pretty low..maybe early decision would help you but i dont know if you wana go there tat badly
