What are my chances with UCF, USF, FSU, FAU?
I am a high school junior in florida, but I'm scared I won't get accepted to my dream school, which is UCF. I'm not counting on FSU, but I just want to know my chances. So here are my stats:
3.2 unweighted gpa, 3.7 weighted gpa
2 AP classes and all honors classes throughout high school, never had a regular class.
As for clubs I was only in one, Future Business Leaders of America.
Did cross country
40 community service hours
I also read that FSU likes upward trends. These are my individual GPA's.
Freshman year:2.6
Sophomore year:3.71
Junior year: 3.3
And I'm taking my SAT's next week, but I plan to do quite well since I got in the 1500 range on my PSAT. So what do you guys think? Do I have a chance at any?

I also forgot to mention I’m in the technology academy and have taken web design, pc support 1,2,3, which are honors classes. Don’t know if that will help but maybe it will

One more thing, do you think this will help me at all if I explain in the essay my reason for freshman year? I have a growth disorder called growth hormone deficiency. Everyone would make fun of me. I was 4’7 and about 80 pounds and I looked like I was 10. Every day I would come home and cry due to all the bullying. That really impacted my f
Grades. I started shots to replace the lack if growth hormone in my sophomore year, and started to catch up with the other kids. Due to no more bullying, I was able to focus on my studies last year as well as my junior year.

Yes, it would. All colleges would understand why your GPA was so low.

The problem is that your junior year GPA was also low compared to sophomore and colleges REALLY look at junior year GPAs. The trend in your GPA is odd. Might hurt.

Could make a big difference. Make a personal appointment and go see the admissions officers at the schools you want.

Be well and go knock 'em dead. :)
