Chances at George Washington?

I thought this school was at the Georgetown/Boston College, etc. level, but I've heard that it is actually a bit easier to get into so I went ahead and applied. Still, though, I have no idea of what kind of chances I have.

I applied for their school of arts and sciences as a English/Creative Writing major.

3.7 GPA (weighted)
1930 SAT I

EC:

Work for 3 years in a row, 15-20 hours a week
Guitar playing/lessons for 9 years
Several minor school clubs

Should have a pretty good teacher recommendations. I feel that my essays were good, although I guess that is subjective.

One AP class, about 75% of the rest throughout high school were honors.

Any other questions, just ask.
Thanks.

Georgetown and BC are much, much tougher to get into than GW. Still a good school for some majors though.

Chances are iffy. Make sure your essays are outstanding.

GWU is a good school that gets better every year (which means this year will be harder to get in than last, etc). Your chances look pretty good, especially as an english major (most popular majors there are intl. relations etc). My brother goes and had a slightly lower GPA and a 1330 SAT, if that helps you out at all.
