What are my chances?

I'm sorry but I have to ask the question that has been asked so many times: Can I get it?

I'm a white male and I go to a small public school in the middle of nowhere in Massachusetts.

SAT: 690v, 680m, 690w
SATII: 610 Literature, 700 Math I
GPA: 3.9 weighted
Class Rank: 4/109

I've taken all the hardest classes possible but my school doesn't offer that many APs. I've taken AP Chem (3 on the test), AP Language (4 on the test), and AP Envi. Sci (5 on the test). This year I have AP Calc and AP U.S. History and some other honors classes.

Main Extracurriculars:

-President of National Honor Society
-Treasurer of Student Council
-Vice-President of Class
-Special Olympics Coach
-Band/Jazz Band and other musical activities
-Steady job at the local coffee shop since 10th grade
-Soccer throughout high school (not very good though)

My recommendations were good but I have no idea how my essays are. The "Why GWU?" one was definately not anything amazing.

If anyone could let me know what you think I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

everything looks pretty good here to me---it sucks to be coming from mass.---but, i still think you should be fine, although i think there is a good chance that admissions will be harder this year at GWU--look at GWU stats from last year on princetonreview.com or collegeboard.com and you should see that your scores are in their upper ranges- feel slightly comforted, but yet agian don't forget how arbitrary the whole process is-- and even more so with a school that had a 38% acceptance rate last year-- i used to think i was set for gwu, but now with what i've seen and experienced with the process, i'm seriously doubting it

everything looks good, but the essays are big factor in the process. With stats alone, I think GW is a match - the essay is indeed the wildcard.

I got into GW with similar stats as yours. I'd say you have a good chance.
