I was wondering what the chances of me getting into High Point University are? My current gpa is a 2.9 I attend a private catholic school and am very involved in clubs and activities. I have yet to take the sat but with what I know what are my chances?
A lot is going to depend on your test scores and essays. It would also help you a lot with the low GPA to apply early decision. A friend of mine attended a private catholic school and had a 2.8 GPA with low test scores, but got in early decision.
The US News stats report that the school accepts students in the 2.0-2.49 range and that there are more students at HPU in the 2.5-2.99 range than any of the GPA brackets above that.
they accept about 75% of applicants. It’s pretty hard to get turned down.
