So I’m a junior right now at Central Washington University who recently decided to become a business major, and I’m finding that I’d have better job prospects at the UW Foster School of Business. I’d like to transfer there for my senior year. Before coming to Central, I got my AA at a community college, went to a private college in California for a year, and then transferred to Central to be on the track/ cross country team (bad decision to choose sports over rankings). Anyhow, I’m wondering how likely it is to get in, and if I should even apply, coming from an in state public university.
College GPA- 3.76
Business Prereqs GPA- 4.0
Credits completed- approx 135 on a quarter system, could be less
Had a few withdrawals one semester at the California college because of personal safety reasons (long story short, someone stalked me and the school didn’t do anything about it)
High School GPA (unweighted)- 3.71
Played two varsity sports in college for 3 years.
Preparing for an internship this summer, some work experience while in school.
