Take some SAT II’s.
Visit colleges during spring break to determine if you want to apply anywhere ED.
Enjoy high school.

You have a good shot at those schools . . .

that said, the Ivies turn down* a lot of excellent applicants, because there are a lot of excellent applicants in the world . . .

so go forth, keep doing what you do and apply to schools that are a good fit for you, and do what excites and stimulates you.

For example, Brown says no to:
76% of Valedictorians
85% of Sals
78% of those with an 800 CR
84% of those with an 800 Math
71% of those with an ACT 36
87% of those with an ACT of 33-35

4.1…uw?..

Perhaps they use A+s worth more than 4.0…

yes A+=4.333
Do you think I should do Wharton ED or ED engineering at UPenn? Also what should i put as my backup for jerome fisher? I really love both business and engineering a lot but which school do you think i would have the best chance at? personally, i think engineering but am not sure.

Do you have an update?

So, what would the GPA scale be out of?

GPA is out of 4.0 A corresponds to a 4.0 but an A+ is 4.333
No i havent applied yet because i am a junior.
Also, I got into a study abroad opportunity (NSLIY) to China during my senior year. How would this look for application purposes? I have complete all of my requirements except for English which I was planning on taking online.

JEROME FISHER at UPENN is NOT, I repeat, NOT easy to get into!! This year they accepted a kid that was working at a VC firm by 10th grade. That is the caliber of student they want.

Good fit for JF, H is always a crapshoot
